OUR MISSION
WIE Org is dedicated to helping women working in the entertainment industry throughout the world.
Our goal is to provide pivotal information and resources that assist women in the advancement of their careers and projects while also creating platforms that help women connect with other women throughout all corners of the world. It is our belief that as a community we can bring a positive change to the current status quo.
OUR STORY
Founded in Los Angeles in 2009, by a group of women who worked in the entertainment industry. Fed up with the inequality that exists in their profession they came together to create Women In Entertainment. Their modest network quickly grew into a well rounded organization of supportive and active women who worked in Hollywood.
Since its initiation WIE Org has expanded throughout the world, with developing chapters in Europe, Canada and Mexico.
OUR AIM
We believe that by providing programs that inform and assist women, we will be able to strengthen their career goals.
We have a number of programs which include: Masterclasses, Workshops, Networking Events and Mentorship Programs.
We also work with other organizations that help promote a more positive female roles, both on and off the screen.
