Over the years, Women In Entertainment has worked alongside of the Cannes Film Festival to offer a range of programs, host informative panels, and foster a global community through social events.
In 2024, WIE introduced its inaugural Lab Series, which provided support to three international female filmmakers. This initiative not only helped the filmmakers refine their pitches but also offered mentorship from experienced producers in the global industry.
This year, WIE is customizing its lab to support a select group of female filmmakers, assisting them not only with the distribution of their projects but also facilitating connections with potential investors. The chosen projects will be featured at the WIE showcase this year.
